Gal and Ben: from Instagram to a wedding at the Shulhan
Gal and Ben met on Instagram in late 2016 and knew they would marry at Gavriel before there was even a proposal. The story of a Shulhan wedding planned without any drama.

Gal and Ben met on Instagram some time in late 2016, when Gal was 18 and Ben 20. A like, a comment, a conversation - and before long a love had taken root that only grew deeper. When Ben decided to propose, he knew the moment had to be just right. With a proposal staged by Carmel David, he surprised Gal at Kibbutz Hulda, with all the family and close friends there, of course. It was moving and exactly right, and it only confirmed what both of them had long known: they were going on together, into a shared life.
Love at first sight
Sometimes there is no need to look very far. Sometimes the heart knows, even before you start talking about dates or putting together mood boards on Pinterest. Gal and Ben knew exactly where they wanted to get married: at Gavriel. Before there was even a proposal, they had already set their hearts on the place. And once they had booked? That was when they truly fell in love, not only with the place but with the people as well.
Of the three venues, the two chose the Shulhan. It is designed in the style of a chef's restaurant, with open kitchens that let guests watch the cooking and feel part of the experience.
Around it lie a green garden and ornamental pools. The combination creates an atmosphere that is luxurious and natural at once. In short, the Shulhan suits those who want elegant hospitality with the flavour of a chef's restaurant.
The people at Gavriel
The impressive design, the quality, the atmosphere - it was all there. But what really made them fall in love all over again was the team. Gal says that as soon as they had booked, they began to feel they were in good hands. Throughout the process they had a team beside them that was both professional and human, and that is what every couple needs when organising a wedding: a place you can trust with your eyes closed, a place that feels like home.
When everything simply flows
It is rare to find a couple who plan a wedding without any drama, but that is exactly what Gal and Ben are. No rows over the design, no digging in over the song lists - just an easy, natural flow.
So no, I am sorry, there are no juicy dramas here. The two were of one mind, each respected what mattered to the other, and both were clearly enjoying the process just as much as the event itself. It showed on the day, too: light-hearted, happy and full of good energy.
A small tip that means a great deal
Gal's tip? Simply go with it. Stop worrying over every little detail and remember that this is a once-in-a-lifetime moment. So concentrate on enjoying it rather than managing it, and everything else will fall into place.
Design that makes a statement
Gal loves places that come "ready-made" as far as design goes, and Gavriel is exactly that. From the designed ceiling to the chandeliers on the tables and the candles at the chuppah, every detail adds to the elegant, finely judged atmosphere she had dreamed of. Look at the photographs and judge for yourself.
Sometimes it is all simple and just right
Gal and Ben chose well from the very start, and thanks to that choice the whole journey was smooth, assured and full of love - just like the wedding itself.
